‘Easy’, ‘intermediate’, ‘challenging’…all pretty subjective terms, I’ll be the first to admit. What’s a breeze for you might be torture for me, or vice versa. Some people hate even the hint of a hill when riding, others detest motorized traffic of any sort (me!), and others still might go insane when a headwind hits them.

To keep things as simple as possible I’ve only considered terrain with these categories. So, flat rides – no matter their length – will get an ‘easy’ label, mountains usually fall under ‘challenging’, and everything else is dumped into ‘intermediate’.
